The Screen Studies Department of AFTRS,
in conjunction with 'moves 09' International Festival of Movement on Screen,

is delighted to announce a





Free Screening
of short dance films
from the
moves touring collection

Thursday June 18th, 2009, 7pm
AFTRS Main Theatre
130 Bent St, Entertainment Quarter, (formerly Fox Studios) Moore Park, NSW*


Presented by Dr Karen Pearlman, Head of Screen Studies at AFTRS, this hour
of "moves09" - highlights includes screendance works from the United
Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Spain and Israel. The programme includes
classic dance on screen works; personal, dance focused documentaries;
animations and more, by turns funny, moving, spectacular and poetic. Plus a
special one time only screening of selected short dancefilm works by current
AFTRS students.

This curated collection of shorts (more programme details attached) will be
screened in the new AFTRS building, state of the art cinema, in the heart of
Moore Park easily accessible, free and open to the public!
