Katherine G. Farley has been named Chair-Designate of Lincoln Center, it
was announced today immediately following the annual meeting of the full
Lincoln Center board. She will succeed Frank A. Bennack, Jr., who will
step down as chairman next June, 2010, after serving five years. In her
new role, Ms. Farley will remain a Senior Managing Director at Tishman
Speyer and Chair of the Lincoln Center Development Project. She has been
a member of Lincoln Center's Board since 2003, and a Vice Chair since

As Chair-Designate, she will work closely with Mr. Bennack and Lincoln
Center President Reynold Levy to ensure an orderly transition in leading
redevelopment initiatives, as well as on institutional activities
including fundraising, board expansion and high-level governance

Commented Mr. Bennack, "Katherine's extensive experience in
strengthening important civic and educational institutions, as well as
her tremendous success in leading Lincoln Center's complex redevelopment
project, will be invaluable as we look ahead to completing this phase of

and challenging of times at Lincoln Center."

Ms. Farley joined Tishman Speyer in 1984 and has led Tishman Speyer's
international expansion program into Europe, Latin America, India and
China. She currently is responsible for the firm's Emerging Markets
business in Brazil and China. At Tishman Speyer, Ms. Farley is Chair of
the Compensation Committee and is a member of the Management, Investment
and Executive Committees. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, she was
manager of New Business Development for East Asia and the Pacific at
Turner International Industries, a subsidiary of Turner Construction

Ms. Farley serves on the Board of Trustees of Brown University, the
Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the Board of Overseers of the
International Rescue Committee. She was previously Vice President of the
Board of Directors of the Brearley School in New York City, a member of
the Executive Committee of the International Rescue Committee and Chair
of Women in Need. Ms. Farley has also served on the Executive Committee
of the New York Philharmonic (from 1999-2005) and on the Board of
Directors of Lincoln Center Theater (from 2002-2005).

She graduated from Brown University and received a Masters of
Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. (LCPA) serves three primary
roles: presenter of superb artistic programming, national leader in arts
and education and community relations, and manager of the Lincoln Center
campus. As a presenter of over 400 events annually, LCPA's programs
include Great Performers, American Songbook, Lincoln Center Festival,
Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Live From Lincoln Center, Midsummer Night
Swing, and the Mostly Mozart Festival. In addition, LCPA is leading a
series of major capital projects on behalf of the resident
