Storybook Ballet premiere of A Midsummer Night's Dream. A delightful tale for the
young and old, South Bay Ballet's adaption of the famous play by William Shakespeare
presents the whimsical story of love, mischief, and magic in a forest inhabited
by faerie folk, woodland creatures and a donkey!
Artistic Director Diane Lauridsen and Assistant Artistic Director Candice Davis
present the talents of South Bay Ballet in this collaborative production for one
weekend only, Saturday, June 6 at 2 p.m. and again at 6 p.m.; and Sunday, June
7 at 3 p.m. at the James R. Armstrong Theatre in Torrance. All seats are $18.

Young audience members are encouraged to take part in complimentary dance workshops
immediately following each matinee performance to learn an excerpt from A Midsummer
Night's Dream. The workshops are taught by instructors of the Lauridsen Ballet
