ISLAND MOVING CO. AND OPERA PROVIDENCE JOIN FORCES FOR AN ELEGANT COLE
PORTER EVENING





Two of RI's innovative performing arts organizations will
present "Just One of Those Things," an evening of Cole Porter music with
dancing, at the Providence Renaissance Hotel on Thursday, April 23rd. The
evening, which will benefit both non-profit organizations, is chaired by
Ellen Barnes and Tony Regine.

Opera Providence and Island Moving Co. will collaborate on a
performance combining the talents of IMC's dancers and Opera Providence's
Stephanie Piraino and Tim Steele in a medley of Cole Porter songs
choreographed by IMC Artistic Director Miki Ohlsen. The performance will be
followed by music for dancing by Mike Renzi's Orchestra.

"Just One of Those Things" begins at 6:30pm with cocktails and
hors d'oeuvres. The performance by Island Moving Co. and Opera Providence
follows at 7:30pm and dancing for all will begin at 8:30. Desserts will be
served and there is a cash bar. Tickets are $100 and are available from
