BOSTON BALLET SCHOOL'S NORWELL STUDIO
PRESENTS PETER AND THE WOLF
BOSTON, MA - March 16, 2009 - Boston Ballet School's Norwell studio
principal, Jared Redick, announced today its upcoming performance of
Peter and the Wolf, April 11 at the Duxbury Performing Arts Center. The
production will feature more than 40 students from the Norwell studio.
"The Norwell studio's production of Peter and the Wolf is an important
and exciting component of our students' dance education, as it provides
an opportunity for them to perform before an audience and showcase their
talents," said Redick.
Redick, also a soloist with Boston Ballet, choreographed Peter and the
Wolf with Boston Ballet company member Boyko Dossev. The production will
feature live music by a quintet from the Boston Symphony Orchestra and
costuming and set elements by Boston Ballet designers and production
staff.
The 3:00pm and 6:00pm performances will also include the Norwell
Studio's performing group dancing the Garland Dance from The Sleeping
Beauty and Norwell Studio alumni, now advanced students with Boston
Ballet School, dancing a new work created by a fellow student.
Boston Ballet School is the largest ballet school in North America with
