Keith Johnson/Dancers: Girl Falling Towards the
Sky.

Two nights of exceptional choreography and great
dancing. Keith Johnson/Dancers present three works
to the Los Angeles area including Brink, I Dream A
Highway, and Girl Falling Towards The Sky. The
company was formed in 1998 after choreographer
Keith Johnson completed his time as a dancer with
Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, Creach/Koester,
and Doug Varone & Dancers.

Internationally-acclaimed Lula Washington Dance
Theatre, fresh from triumphant showings
in the Virginia Arts Festival and Temecula Valley,
brings its sprit and dynamism to the
Lincoln Center Out of Doors in New York on August
15th and 16th and the REDCAT Theatre in
Los Angeles on August 29th. Programs will
include Spontaneous Combustion a jazz
improvisation piece, We Wore the Mask, the stirring
hip-hop influenced modern piece set
to live music by Marcus Miller, and the premiere of
Lulas new work, Ode to the
Sixties, set to music by Janice Joplin, the Beatles, and
James Brown

Kenneth Walker Dance Project (KWDP), a
contemporary ballet company based in Southern
