TYANN CLEMENT AND IAN CASADY TO APPEAR AS GUEST ARTISTS
IN THE VICTORIA BALLET THEATRE'S PRODUCTION OF THE NUTCRACKER

NEW YORK -- TYANN CLEMENT, soloist of the Houston Ballet, and IAN CASADY,
principal dancer of the Houston Ballet, will appear as guest artists in the
Victoria Ballet Theatre's production of The Nutcracker. The performances will
take place at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts in Victoria,
Texas on December 6, 7, 8 and 9, 2007.

TYANN CLEMENT began her ballet training in New Orleans under the guidance of
Kathryn Gamble and Harvey Hysell. Ms. Clement also studied at the Houston
Ballet Academy before she was invited to join the Houston Ballet. In 2001 Ms.
Clement was promoted to the rank of soloist.

Ms. Clement's principal roles include Calpurnia in Ben Stevenson's
Cleopatra, the Fairy Godmother in Stevenson's Cinderella, the Snow Queen and Sugar
Plum Fairy in Stevenson's The Nutcracker, Tinkerbell in Trey McIntyre's Peter
Pan, Suzuki in Stanton Welch's Madame Butterfly, the Peasant Pas de Deux in
Peter Wright's production of Giselle, and the Russian Girl in George
Balanchine's Serenade.

Ms. Clement has shown her versatility in expanding her repertoire to include
principal roles in contemporary works such as Christopher Bruce's Ghost
Dances and Sergeant Early's Dream, Stanton Welch's Indigo, William Forsythe's In
The Middle, Somewhat Elevated, Natalie Weir's In A Whisper and Steppenwolf,
Paul Taylor's Company B, Lila York's Rapture, Rules of the Game, and
All-American, David Parson's The Pied Piper, and Dominic Walsh's Flames of Eros, The
Illusion of Separation, and Dolcemente.

Ms. Clement is also a member of the Dominic Walsh Dance Theater.

IAN CASADY was born in Marin County, California, and received his training
in California under the guidance of David Roxander and Jody White at Dance
Theater Seven.

Mr. Casady joined the Houston Ballet in 1998 after studying at the Houston
Ballet's Ben Stevenson Academy. He was promoted to soloist in 2002. He was
promoted to principal dancer in 2007.

Mr. Casady's principal roles include the Prince in Ben Stevenson's The
Nutcracker, Romeo in Stevenson's Romeo and Juliet, Marc Antony in Stevenson's
Cleopatra, and Pinkerton in Stanton Welch's Madame Butterfly.

Mr. Casady has also danced principal roles in contemporary works including
Stanton Welch's Indigo and Bruiser, Jiri Kylian's Forgotten Land, Christopher
Bruce's Ghost Dances and Rooster, Nacho Duato's Without Words, Stevenson's
Five Poems and Twilight, McIntyre's Second Before the Ground, Dominic Walsh's
The Illusion of Separation and Dolcemente, and Natalie Weir's Steppenwolf.
