Well, the summer is drawing to a close and it’s time

Throughout the summer, the CDF office has been

Festival. So, here’s what’s new

contemporary Canadian dance and assist us with our

this questionnaire. Your feedback is very important
to us and will help us make choices in the year
ahead.

Draw to win!
When you return your survey, including complete

Shows on Tour
Several of the shows that have appeared at the CDF are on the road.

Natasha Bahkt will be performing Obiter Dictum &
Triptych Self in Edmonton at the Haar Theatre on
December 1st & 2nd.

Paul-André Fortier has just ended four legs and 120
performances of his Solo 30X30 tour. Since last
March, the dancer has been making his way around
the globe, from Newcastle to Yamaguchi, via Nancy
and Ottawa. The next stop is Montreal! From
October 20th to November 18th, as the weather
varies between falling leaves and the first snow,
Fortier will be in the heart of the city, dancing for
passersbys on an abandoned lot on the north-west
corner of Sainte-Catherine and Clark.

Lynda Gaudreau’s piece, 0101, was on tour this
summer at the ImPulsTanz Festival, in Vienna. Next,
it will be performed at both the Centre national de la
danse, in Paris and the Teatro Libero in Palermo, Italy
in March 2007.
