thursday august 3 CALL FOR DANCERS 10 dancers (5 male/5 female) needed for a
"Tribute to Katherine Dunham" at Miller Theatre on September 16, 2006. "Tribute to
Katherine Dunham" will form the centerpiece for Tapestry of World Dance, a joint
production of Dance Source Houston and Central College World Dance Institute.
Auditions will be held at the Central College Dance Studio, Theatre One, 3517 Austin
Street, at 7:00pm. Carlos Henderson, choreographer, is looking for strong dancers,
preferably with knowledge of Dunham technique. The dance will be set in one
weekend; rehearsals will be held at the HCC Central Dance Studio. Dancers must be
available for all rehearsals. Dancers will receive a performance stipend of $50.00.
