Argentinean Dardo Galletto, former member of Julio Bocca's Ballet Argentino and currently a leading New York teacher of Argentine Tango, will present his New Generation Dance Company for 5 performances, July 27-30 at the Harry de Jur Playhouse, Henry Street Settlement.
Galletto will show his unique fusion of tango, ballet and modern in two programs:
Program A (July 28 at 8 PM; July 29 at 3 PM) feaures dances to the music of master Astor Piazzolla;
Program B (July 29 at 8 PM; July 30 at 3 PM) features dances to the music of Maurice Ravel, including "Bolero de Ravel."
