PROGRAM:



A showcase of dances by students of the Diablo Ballet Summer Dance Intensive, a summer training program for advanced dancers ages 11- 18.



This performance will include excerpts from the ballets Don Quixote, Swan Lake and Giselle as well as new works by Program Directors



Tina Kay Bohnstedt and Viktor Kabaniaev.

About the Diablo Ballet Summer Dance Intensive Program



Diablo Ballet in partnership with the City of Walnut Creek’s Civic Arts Education presentes its Fourth Annual Summer Dance Intensive - July 17 to August 5, 2006. Under the directorship of Viktor Kabaniaev and Tina Kay Bohnstedt with artists from Diablo Ballet augmenting the distinguished faculty. The program schedule – Monday through Friday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, includes classes in ballet technique, pointe, pas de deux, character and repertoire (from the classical repertory.)
