june 21 Spacetaker fundraiser. Houston Area Whole Foods Markets. The funds raised
will help fund a computer resource lab for Houston Artists located at the Law Office
- Art Space, 5106 Center Street. The lab will open in January 2007. Spacetaker
received a grant to buy the equipment (computers, scanners, cameras, printers, and
storage) and we really need help funding the workshops and overhead to keep the lab
open for artists to use. What you can do to help: go to a Whole Foods Market on
June 21s to do your weekly grocery shopping or volunteer to hand out cultural arts

NEW Program Manager Needed The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts at UH is
seeking a Program Manager. Working closely with the Center's Managing Director, the
Program Manager plays a key role in the Center's annual season of public events,
residencies, and curriculum. Responsibilities: artist correspondence, budget
management, and coordination of the Center's programs and courses. Must be a highly
organized, self-managing professional with an interest in the arts and knowledge of
non-profit organizations and/or arts administration. Candidate should be a creative
and energetic individual with excellent communication skills and a desire to learn
while working in a lively, fast-paced environment. Experience in working in an
