By Nature will feature a variety of media including: printmaking,
painting, graphic design, sculpture, mix media, and ink
illustration. By Nature will take place for one night only, Friday,
June 9, 2006. The venue for this showcase of artistic innovation
will be held at the International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA
Dance) from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Art by Girls aspires to promote
within and expose throughout the South Florida community the
vitality of the fine arts. On June 9, 2006, join Art by girls in By
Nature and grant these seven female artists the opportunity to
present their art and enrich the understanding of the artistic scene
in South Florida. This will be Art by Girl's third show.

Pt.Suman Ghosh is a renowned vocalist from the Mewati Gharana(school) of
Hindustani Classical Music where generations of musicians have emerged with the
gift of spirituality. He is a senior disciple of Pandit Jasraj. Through his
soulful renderings, the elements of musical aesthetics and spirituality in Pt.
Ghosh’s voice comes alive. A rich and mellifluous voice with delicate
ornamentations, complete command over the diction of music and a superb
understanding of the rhythm are the hallmarks of his performance. He won many
awards including two President’s Awards (instituted by All India Radio), the
Sangeet Research Academy Award and the Dover Lane Music Conference Award
(Calcutta).

revolutionary twentieth-century dance troupe known as the Ballets
Russes. What began as a group of Russian refugees who never danced in
Russia became not one but two rival dance troupes who fought the
infamous “ballet battles” that consumed London society before World

APPEARS LIVE AT THE ATLANTIC THEATER ON SATURDAY JUNE 17TH
The Atlantic Theater is proud to announce the appearance of comedian
Brian Bradley on Saturday June 17th at 8pm. Bradley combines a blend
of improvisation and stand up comedy that sets him apart from standard
monologists. Whether using audience members in an improvised Murder
Mystery, Fashion Show, hypnosis act, or blues song, he always makes the
audience the star of the show. Brian began his career at the comedy
store in L.A. working with the Comedy Store Players that regularly
featured Robin Williams, Martin Short, and Betty Thomas. He has
appeared in numerous sitcoms and TV pilots, including a guest spot on
Seinfeld, and has costarred in two films. He originated the role of
Vince Fontaine in the 1994 revival of Grease on Broadway and toured the
show for four years. He is currently a member at the Comedy Warehouse
an Improv company at Disney’s Pleasure Island.
Tickets are now on sale for the show and sell for $18.00 if ordered in
advance and $20.00 if ordered at the door. . The evening is a part of
the BYOB Comedy Series held monthly at the Atlantic Theater, as patrons
are encouraged to bring their own beverages with coolers and ice

“GATED COMMUNITY” IMPROV COMEDY
LIVE AT THE ATLANTIC THEATER
SATURDAY JUNE 24TH at 8:00pm
Gated Community, a high energy improvisational comedy troupe, performs live on
Saturday June 24th at 8:00pm at The Atlantic Theater. Gated Community has been
entertaining South Florida audiences since the fall of 2004, and they combine
short form and long form improvisation, sketch comedy, video sketch, audience
participation and song parody, offering a show full of wit, charm and hilarity
along with a clever insight on the humors of everyday life that we can all relate
to. Gated Community shows are unique in that the performers get scene ideas and
suggestions from audience members, so no scene is ever pre scripted and the actors
never know which direction a scene may take.
Gated Community performs a brand new monthly show at The Atlantic Theater, and has
appeared at the 2006 Miami Improv Festival and opened for The Groundlings from Los
Angeles and Upright Citizens Brigade from New York City. It was their second
straight year performing at the Miami Improv Festival, a collection of the
country’s best Improv comedy troupes. Gated Community has also been invited to
perform on the main stage at Artigras 2006. Gated Community recently received a
2005 Impy award as best sketch comedy in Palm Beach County.
Every show offers a new theme, with brand new sketch comedy, improvisations and
videos. The theme for this show is a “best of” with all of the best sketches over
the past two years. Audiences continue to discover the humor and energy found in
a live Improv show, as the mix of sketch, improvisation, music and video leaves
patrons excited about the endless possibilities of live theater. Gated Community
takes comedy seriously….very seriously.

MIAMI CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
It’s time to whip Dad into shape so he’s no wimp on Father’s Day. That
means races, kick-boxing, sports and other Dad like activities. And
guess where you can find all of this activity this weekend? Miami
Children’s Museum.
Sunday, June 11th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm will be the day Father’s
can get ready for their most important day of the year. A day when he
can show his family that he’s worth more than just a new tie. And at
the Miami Children’s Museum, 980 MacArthur Causeway on Watson Island we
are doing everything to prepare your Dad or even granddad for his big
day! We are having races, soccer and golf lessons, kick boxing
instructions, woodworking activities and even a demonstration by the
City of Miami Bomb Squad. And it’s not over yet! After all that he can
make an ascent on our Rock climbing wall absolutely free! When he’s
finally in shape, he can relax in our auditorium where sports will be
shown on our big screen. Doesn’t Dad deserve more than one day. Miami

Miami Children’s Museum is located at 980 MacArthur Causeway on Watson
Island in Miami. It is open to the general public seven days a week
from 10AM to 6PM. Regular admission to the museum is free for MCM
members and children under 12 months; non-member adults and children are
$10. To take part in the Pre-Father’s Day activities there will be an
additional $5.00 charge. For more information contact the Museum at
