A NEW HOME FOR NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL BALLET COMPETITION IN 2007, AND OTHER NEWS

Founder/Director Ilona Copen announces three new beginnings for New York International Ballet Competition: a new performance home, a revitalized Board of Directors, even a new office address.

Due to the one-year closing for renovations of Alice Tully Hall, home of NYIBC since 1990, the Competition will relocate to the elegant Rose Theater for the next event, June 20-24, 2007. NYIBC looks forward to its move to the beautiful new theater in the Time-Warner Center, Columbus Circle, and anticipates a long relationship with the Rose Theater.

New beginnings are also taking place with a restructuring of the Board of Directors. NYIBC is delighted to welcome four new Board Members: Susan Jannetta, Director of Branding, Philip Morris International; Dian Pickoff, attorney; Samuel Myers, attorney; and
Reginald Van Lee, Senior Vice President, Booz/Allen/Hamilton.
All promise to invigorate the organization with fresh ideas and plans for the future.

Finally, NYIBC has relocated to beautiful new offices at 119 West 57th Street, suite 1215, New York City 10019. The phone number and e-mail address remain the same: phone 212/956-1520; e-mail nyibc@nyibc.org. Company website is www.nyibc.org
