I am writing in behalf of a dance history project called Dancers We Lost, an independent project seeking to document and archive the lives of dancers who were lost to AIDS. We are producing an exhibit at the GLBT History Museum in San Francisco which will open April 1. The results of our research will eventually be preserved and accessible at the Museum of Performance and Design. We are seeking to contact anyone who would like to help with memories, information, photos, etc. There will be a list of dancers posted next month on the website http://www.impactstories.org/dancers-we-lost.htm . In the meantime, I am focussing on Antonio Mendes. I've seen on other chat sites that many people still have fond memories of Antonio. If you would be willing to share, please contact me at (415) 580-0432, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
