Post subject:  Ballet Class Music In Piano Scoring

Does anyone have sources; i.e., publishers or dealers who offer piano music for ballet classes? Admittedly, most dance schools have used a large amount of their practice music in recorded form for years. Presumably only the companies with deep pockets can use a rehearsal pianist very frequently. As an aging student of this genre of music I have found original piano scoring by the composers for many well known classical ballet works at http://www.IMSLP.org. Dancemelody.com in Hungary has interesting offerings on class music from time to time, but shipping times tend to be slow through no fault of theirs. What about US sources---where are they?

One good source is the RAD: http://www.radenterprises.co.uk/rad-syl ... 0h4ptnffj2

Another is the music examples found at the back of Harriet's book on playing for the ballet: http://upf.com/book.asp?id=CAVALS01

Print music stores have often carried books, which is where I've picked up quite a few over the years.

A quick Google search shows: http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/Bal ... =shopzilla
and: http://www.danceables.com/

Hope some of this helps!
