The Guardian's cartoonist Steve Bell is viciously accurate in his political targets and today he imagines a pas de deux danced by IMF chief Christine LaGarde and British Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osbourn. Both these hypocrites preach austerity whilst being rather well off themselves and certainly in the UK, expect the poorest to shoulder the burden of austerity. Ms LaGarde only days ago berated the people of Greece to pay their taxes (it's mainly the Greek ruling class that don't) but yesterday it was revealed that she pays no tax at all on her massive salary.
