In the emerging world of internet expression can now be found a lot of personal communication from those that we only generally know and admire from large aesthetic distances. They are in fact also....
Human Beings.
I would like to start a topic here for comments about different dancers' thoughts and insights into what they are doing as posted on the internet or elsewhere.
"Twitter" can be a good place to start. "Facebook" is probably another. Just Google in the name of someone with "Twitter" or "Facebook" afterward and see what you can find.
I"ve just started doing this myself so my suggestions are very limited.
Here are a couple from "Twitter." (There are many more.)
Maria Kochetkova (balletrusse) (SF Ballet)
http://twitter.com/BalletrusseKathryn Morgan (NYCB)
http://twitter.com/KMorganNYCBEven the Mariinsky is on "Twitter" and it seems to be an official site.

Miami City Ballet -- youthful, very likable and high talented -- is developing a very nice blog site. (See Deanna Seay's warm, well thought out and well presented comments about her years of dancing some of George Balanchine' finest works.)
http://www.miamicityballet.org/blog/Take a look. It will probably be pleasant, maybe a lot of fun, informative and you may discover what you already knew -- that dancers can be very nice individuals.
Also let us know what you find out and what you think about it.
