Dance is everywhere in the Bay Area. We have the highest amount of dance activity per capita in the United States. We have a major world-class ballet troupe and half a dozen smaller ones, as well as Indian Kathak gurus, hula masters and dance theater mavericks. We have packed classes in everything from hip-hop to Afro-Haitian at bustling schools like the ODC Dance Commons, the San Francisco Dance Center and Oakland's Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts.
