I guess I can't help you.

We saw the opening night Wed Oct. 29 with Nioradze and Sarafanov
(Gamzatti was Elvira Tarasova) and Sat Nov 1 with Sofia Gumerova
and Igor Kolb (Gamzatti was Irina Golub).

On the contrary, John. Thanks.

it must have been Sophia Gumerova, who did two in a row.

She resembled Tatiana Tkachenko, who danced Gamzatti the afternoon before, whereas Gamzatti, ElviraTarasova, more resembled Nikiya, Irma Nirodze, from the afternoon before. Not as confusing as it sounds. The first afternoon Nikiya was the more mature dancer and the day after Gamzatti was.

The Solors were also a mystery. I believe that on Sunday it was Anton Korsakov (not listed), who replaced the injured Igor Zelensky. On Saturday afternoon it looked like Andrei Yakovlev, if that's at all possible (he's not listed anywhere). I thought that both the Solors were on their way to being the next Rudolph Nureyev, they were both so agile.

Here are the Criticaldance posts from those performances. ... 1b57495b08

Also here is a beautiful Garbo-esque picture of Irma Nioradze, provided yesterday by NataliaN.
