If you feel your toes tapping lately, it's probably not a nervous condition. After all, it's National Dance Week.
The highlight is Sunday, when the sixth annual "Dancin' Downtown" festival hits San Jose's Circle of Palms (between the Museum of Art and the Fairmont Hotel) with performances ranging from hip-hop and jazz to ballet and modern dance.
The free event from noon to 5 p.m. will feature more than 35 dance groups, including Bay Area professional groups and students from San Jose State University and Santa Clara University.
