Here is a review of the Black Dance Festival held Saturday in Houston. It featured both African and modern dances:
http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/story.hts/ae/dance/612134

This looked wonderful! It's easy to forget that Africa is a continent with many countries, and within those countries , different cultures. The dance and art coming from these many countries is varied and quite interesting. Does anybody have some personal experience about some of the nuances of African dances? By the way, all you cd folks, how about African food for lunch this week. It's delicious!
