oh! ah...well...yeah...i guess maybe you're right. i was so pleased to see you back that i hadn't noticed...
i guess it belongs in MISCELLANY? i'll leave it here for just a bit, till you at least see my response, so you know where to find it, and move it tomorrow, OK?
one of the reasons i much prefer AUTObiographies to other biographies is that they are less likley to be those 'fluffy' stories, which to me are so meaningless.....
sounds like this one might be a bit TOO nice? by which i mean, no lives are simple and all easy (are they?). when i read the 'everything went wonderfully forever' type of story, i don't see the point, at all...

well....
I thought his "list" for female partners was amusing and it gave me a good chuckle first thing on a Saturday morning.
But then again there are probably many male dancers who could have written a similar list...

unfortunate that the ottawa citizen doesn't appear to have a printer-friendly version, because down below the photos in this article, it actually gets kind of interesting, re aging ballerinas, demanding co-stars and his dismal 5 years of struggle with ottawa ballet - worth a look.
also some stuff about nureyev's private (or not so private) behaviour, and about karen kain.

While you're about it Dirk, could you just walk us through the 13-dimensional super-string theory analogue of this one?
[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited October 02, 2000).]
