First music, art and dance centre set for opening next month

MUSCAT — A music, art and dance centre, the first of its kind in Oman, which has direct links with the fifth Malayalam news channel, Jeevan TV, will begin functioning from the middle of July, its promoters told the Times of Oman yesterday.

The DD Music and Arts Centre (DDMAC), in Al Aman House, near Sindbad Park in Wadi Kabir, which hopes to include the teaching of all art forms under one roof, will be open to students for registration from this Wednesday, Dinesh Nambiar, chairman of Desert Design LLC, said.
