Friday night's program at the fifth annual Dumbo Dance Festival, directed by Young Soon Kim, certainly tested viewer stamina; all told, the work of 20 choreographers was showcased during more than three and a half hours in the John Ryan Theater at the White Wave Performance and Rehearsal Space in Brooklyn. From earnest antiwar dances and typical solos examining ethnicity to Butohesque works and formulaically lush ensemble pieces, there was likely something to delight (or displease) everyone.
