the malakhov program is an embarrassment, it's so sycophantic - must have been made by, shall we say, a close personal friend, i would think....<P>the helpmann program is a gem, for those interested in the history and the man...such an interesting person. quite a number of his facets are explored here, not just the ballet dancer; recommended!

I agree, Grace. I have seen both programs, and felt that the Malakhov was gratuitous. However, I plan to watch Helpmann again. It was delightful.
