Image
This looks like an excellent resource book for dancers and teachers alike. "A Dancer's Body" by Dr. Josef Huwyler, an orthopedic surgeon in Zurich, Switzerland. This reknowned expert on ballet discusses what it takes to become a ballerina, and offers information on injuries, and importantly, how to prevent them and stay healthy. Should give some good ideas about body mechanics as relating to technique.
[This message has been edited by Maggie (edited August 17, 2000).]
