Sounds good to me Basheva!<P>For those who can't make it this year, but would like a second-hand Tango fix, here is our topic:<P> <A HREF="http://www.criticaldance.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/000002.html" TARGET=_blank>http://www.criticaldance.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/000002.html</A>

We listened to tango music tonight since we couldn't make it all the way to Argentina. Image Not that I'd know what to do once I got there, but surely I'd figure something out. Especially if my friend Katya were there, she was very good at helping me understand what to do in the one tango class I took with her.

Oh Priscilla - this is an easy one!! First you get yourself a slinky dress, some enticing color, with a fringe here and there. Then some really high heeled shoes - red maybe, and net stockings - yes, that would be good. Hair swept back in a bun, with just one lock curved (by accident of course) over an eye, kind of hooked on a fake eye lash. Dark red nail polish to match the dark red lipstick.....put on the music and off you go. S I M P L E !!<P>

Well, yes - all that makes sense, Basheva. But I also have a memory of some tricky footwork and gymnastic moves.

Surely with the appropriate attire and grooming (as described by the fahbulous Basheva) the dance itself would be a piece of cake! Ha! If only. Though it always does seem to help...

Stuart, Stuart, Stuart....it's not the gymnastic moves of the dance that are important ........it's shopping for that perfect dress......

And I think Stuart has a boa?<P>Yes, shopping is everything! I went to a tango dance put on by a tango club. There was someone there with a rack of clothes that you could search for the perfect tango dress. There were some truly wild ones.

That is so nice for someone to share their rack of clothes so everyone "can play the part". Made me think of the places here where people can dress up in "American Wild West, Frontier-type clothes" and have their pictures taken in sepia tones.

Priscilla, I wish they *had* been sharing them, I would have had a field day! Unfortunately, they were for sale only.

Yeah, well you had to pay to dress up like a Gold Rush era "Good Time Gal" or "Frontier Woman" too.
