I am looking for dancer reviewers in NYC area for an unusual performance in an installation this coming saturday may 19th at 6:30pm in brooklyn. The event is called Holy River and is the culmination of a 3 year work by a French artist, Prune Nourry, who spent her time in India studying ritual worship of Goddesses and the tragedy of gender selection in India. Her work reflects the dialogue of the 'holy-ness' of the sacred Cow and the girl child who are venerated yet abused so much in society.
Live performance in the space is curate by Simon Dove and choreographed and performed by Preeti Vasudevan, with original score by Mitchell Yoshida.
