I recognize some names here from the notesgroup a.a.b. Hi again - I was there under my maiden name Karin Doyle. I was in the Sacramento, California area at the time, and if anyone from Deane Dance is here that I might have known, hi!
I'm curious as to what became of a.a.b., is this group an offshoot?
Regards, Karin

Hi Karin. We're not an off-shoot of a.a.b, but Cyberdance is a relatively small world, so it doesn't surprise me that you have found some familiar names. CriticalDance was set up to provide an artist friendly website covering all forms of performance dance, which seemed to be a gap in Internet provision three or so years ago when we started the site.
Can't help with news of a.a.b., but maybe my colleagues can. It's good to have you here.

Alt.arts.ballet is still very much alive, although not as active as it used to be. We've recently discussed, among other things, the correct word to use to describe a male ballet dancer, which discussion morphed into one about the way the world at large views dance and dancers.
------------------
Jeffrey E.
