Direct from the CD forum... Reports from the Dusseldorf Internationale Tanzmesse
by Annie Wells
Yesterday saw the official opening of the 6th International Tanzmesse which in a well-established manner now takes place in the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen every two years. Finis Jhung: Finis Fine-Tunes Ballet
by Dean Speer and Francis Timlin
June 2006 - Jackson, Mississippi

Batsheva - 'Telophaza'
by Juliet Neidish and Mark Franko -- July 20, 2006, New York State Theatre, Lincoln Center, NYC
The Batsheva dancers are without a doubt powerful, earthy, and exuberant movers committed to the mastery of Gaga, a movement technique designed by Naharin. The shared technique plus the fact that the dancers are for the most part in their mid- 20’s gives the company a look of homogeneity. The company offered the U.S. premiere of “Telophaza” (2005) at the Lincoln Center Festival. read more...
Pilobolus - 'Prism', 'Gnomen', 'Sweet Purgatory'
by Cecly Placenti -- July 24, 2006, Joyce Theatre, New York Pilobolus, the art organism, is a highly unusual, non-traditional dance company whose unique signature style grows out of a deeply committed collaborative effort. At seven dancers thick, its fresh approach to weight-sharing and partnering give it the power to make dances that look like moving architecture.
